Starting from February 2023, the Emilia-Romagna Region through ART-ER and the it-ER programme joined the ETMF network

The European Talent Mobility Forum (ETMF) is a network created in 2020 and made up of 11 cutting-edge regional talent management organizations from several different European regions: Berlin PartnerBizkaia TalentBrainport DevelopmentCopenhagen CapacityInternational Citizen Hub LundMove to GothenburgTalentScotlandTurku Business Region, Work in EstoniaOslo Region Alliance and ART-ER with its it-ER International Talents Emilia-Romagna programme. The ETMF network is coordinated by Future Place Leadership.
Its main objective is to progress towards interregional talent mobility and promote the co-creation of continuous solutions to implement development initiatives at the local, regional, national and international levels.
This close-knit group is dedicated to go above and beyond in welcoming international talent and increasing mobility between regions. All partners meet online on a monthly basis and then once a year for an in person meeting.

The 2024 meeting has been held in Brussels, during the European Week of Regions and Cities. As part of the two days meeting, a public panel on Attraction and Mobility of Highly Qualified International Talent has been hosted by the Oslo Regionen and organized by Linköping Science Park, Euraxess, Vinnova, Switch to Sweden and Future Place Leadership. Here, together with some of the most relevant players in Europe, the it-ER staff took part in the discussion on how to address the challenges related to talent attraction and talent mobility in local territories and on how a European collaboration could help in the implementation of local strategies and projects, starting from the long path run with the it-ER International Talents Emilia-Romagna programme.
