Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we suspended our festivals and gatherings with our family and friends all around the world. After 2 long years, we can celebrate the coming of spring. Therefore, for those who want to celebrate this Easter break with family and friends, the Emilia-Romagna region’s beautiful locations offer many opportunities.

Bologna

As a center city of the Emilia-Romagna region, Bologna offers many different kinds of events. There are plenty of event options you can choose from!

Music festivals are the sign of springtime. So, on Easter Sunday and Monday you can join some of them. İn Arena Parco Nord in Bologna, on Easter Monday, there will be 10 hours of non-stop music. Also, clubs and concert halls offer different types of music experiences. One of them is The Jackson Pollock concert in Covo on Easter Sunday.

For those who want to have a more cultural Easter, there are some exhibitions to visit as the one about one of the most-known Bolognese singer and songwriter Lucio Dalla’s exhibition calls Lucio Dalla. Even if time passes. Also, there are other activities for those who prefer outdoor activities. Appennino4trek association organizes trekking lasting about 6 hours to discover the Via dei Mulini on Easter Sunday. Ravenna

Ravenna is known for its beautiful Byzantine mosaics. Due to the historical and religious fabric of Ravenna, mass rites are organized by the church at Easter to cover the whole week. Piacenza

This authentic medieval city offers different kinds of events during the Easter break, especially for families. Besides those cities, in one of the most beautiful small town in the Emila-Romagna region, Vignola hosts a cherry blossom festival. Also, you can find food and wine stands while you are visiting the old town of Vignola.
