it-ER participates to the Cities for Talent Meeting 2024 in Utrecht
In October a three-day congress to foster an environment of exchange and collaboration, sharing best practices and growing a network to support the international community
In a constantly evolving European landscape, the representatives of local governments face the critical challenge of attracting international talent. Attracting international professionals is only half of the work; ensuring their integration and making them willing to stay is equally important and will be the central theme of the upcoming congress.
From 2nd to 4th October 2024 it-ER will participate in this three-day Cities for Talent Conference together with various Welcome Centers from across European cities to foster an environment of exchange and collaboration, sharing these best practices.
How can we optimise the experience of internationals? How can we make them feel home and integrate into our local communities? And how can we potentially assist them in finding new employment opportunities if they lose their job (talent transfer)?
Every European Welcome Centre has developed unique strategies to tackle these questions within their local environment context with unique challenges and limited resources. By coming together, it will be possible to continue growing a network towards a stronger, more interconnected Europe in which to support the international community.
The participation of the Emilia-Romagna delegation is strongly linked to the implementation of Regional Law 14 February 2023, n.2, «Attracting, valorising and promoting highly specialized talents in Emilia-Romagna».
