Municipality of Ravenna

Ravenna Welcomes Talents is a pilot initiative by the Municipality of Ravenna, coordinated by ART-ER and supported by the Region of Emilia-Romagna, to attract and retain national and international talents. The project strengthens the innovation ecosystem through a dynamic network of public and private actors. It supports students, researchers, and professionals in relocating, settling, and integrating into the local community.

Services provided

• General help desk (online and in-person) for relocation and access to essential and advanced services
Specialized support for non-EU citizens on entry procedures and initial orientation
• University-based help desk for third-country students and researchers
• Online promotion of higher education and career opportunities 
• Ongoing community events fostering social inclusion and long-term engagement
• Cross-sectoral collaboration across youth, immigration, economic development, and cultural services

The Talents Immigration desk, dedicated to internationals, is hosted within the premises of the Migrant Citizens Office in Via Oriani, 44 – first floor.

Formazione e Placement
Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Ravenna

The project focuses on launching an advanced training program in key areas such as music business, copyright law, cultural management, entrepreneurship, start-ups, and Artificial Intelligence. Through strategic partnerships and hands-on learning, it aims to bridge the gap between education and the professional world in the cultural and creative industries.

Services provided
• Specialized training in music business, copyright, cultural professions, and AI
• Collaboration with an external partner, accounting firm, and labor consultants
• Career-oriented workshops and networking events over a three-year cycle
• Direct meetings with foundations, associations, companies, and professionals
• Opportunities for students and alumni to connect with potential employers
• Three research scholarships to support academic projects within the Conservatory

Job Art oriented
Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna

The Academy has launched a training program aimed at supporting the professional integration of students and artists. Funded through the FSE+ Program of the Emilia-Romagna Region, the project combines in-person and online learning with real-world experiences to enhance employability and talent retention in the cultural sector.

Services provided 
• 100-hour training modules (in-person and online)
• Project work, workshops, and labs with certified industry professionals
• Creation of a dedicated job-search webpage within the Academy’s site
• Personalized workspace for current students and alumni
• Development of an interactive placement platform in partnership with an employment agency

Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna

The project provides tools and opportunities for the orientation and placement of students, recent graduates, PhD and PhD students in the transition from university to the world of work.

Services provided
The University is implementing a range of initiatives to enhance career orientation, placement, and alignment with labor market needs, with a focus on a multicampus and international approach:
• strengthened job orientation activities across campuses, including meetings with industry professionals and testimonials from alumni;
• expanded placement programs to increase contact between target groups and local companies, alongside dedicated mentoring pathways;
• support PhD Career Development exploring non-academic careers, such as seminars, workshops, and networking events with businesses, regional clusters, and public institutions;
• job orientation activities designed for international students, promoting awareness of local services provided by municipalities and the Metropolitan City;
• development of IT tools to support self-directed career planning.
