it-ER Careers is a set of measures dedicated to attracting international workers (foreigners or Italians living abroad) with specialized skills that Emilia-Romagna companies struggle to find at local and national level.

The first edition of the it-ER Careers programme was launched in 2021 and was focused on the search for international software developers (foreigners or Italians living abroad). The project involved 22 companies (Imola Informatica, Elements, Quix, Mark One, Teko Telecom, Optit, Onit Group, Unitec, Horta, Rfmcube, AVL Italia, LHP Europe srl, Pirene Srl, Zanasi SRL, Master Training srl, Seven IT srl, Meta System SpA, CSE Consorzio Servizi Bancari SOC. CONS. A R.L., e-Soft s.r.l., Doxee SpA, Aetna Group SpA, Modis Consulting srl).

Together with 3 certified organisations providing employment services (IFOA-Istituto Formazione Operatori Aziendali, Centoform on behalf of Associazione Idea, CIS Formazione on behalf of Formindustria Emilia-Romagna), ART-ER and Future Place Leadership, an international consulting company specialized in attracting and retaining international talent, collaborated on the development of the project.

The second edition of the programme has been launched in 2023 and has been focused on the search for data scientists (foreigners or Italians living abroad). The project involved 5 companies (CRIF, Musixmatch, Optit, NTT Data and Unitec). This edition has been organised together with Future Place Leadership and in the recruitment part also involved Centoform on behalf of Associazione Idea.
