it-ER Stories: Eda Fetahu
From Albania to Emilia-Romagna, a skilled innovation specialist
Eda Fetahu is an innovation specialist in Amadori where she handles all the internal initiatives that involve spreading a culture of innovation within the company. She studied at the University of Udine Business Management and then she majored in international business with a specific focus on innovation in 2017.
According to her one of the main reasons for coming to Emilia-Romagna is for its good food but also because it is a place full of history and art. Now she lives in Cesena and, as mentioned above, is working in an agrifood company. She manages the open innovation activities, creating relations with the different actors of that innovation ecosystem. Moreover, she is involved in sensing activities (studies on new trends, especially market trends, consumer needs, and new strategic raw materials) and taking part in competitions and calls for funding.
Eda told us that she is very pleased to work in a region where there are many initiatives concerning innovation, ecosystems and communities. In her opinion it is impossible getting bored here: people are always very friendly, happy, welcoming and they really know how to enjoy life, balancing their private and working life. For this reason, she cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet new people with international backgrounds as well.
Furthermore, he is also part of our it-ER Ambassadors, the network of international university students, PhDs, researchers and knowledge workers representing the Emilia-Romagna Innovation Ecosystem throughout the world!
