UNIBO Career Day 2025: connecting talent and innovation in Emilia-Romagna

On Tuesday 8th April the 13th edition of the University of Bologna Career Day took place, an event that brought together more than 175 national and international companies (many of them based in Emilia-Romagna) and hundreds of students and recent graduates looking for new job opportunities.

In this context, ART-ER participated, together with representatives of several municipalities of the region, to promote the Talenti Emilia-Romagna initiatives, the it-ER International Talents Emilia-Romagna programme and the 10 local programmes aimed at supporting international students, researchers and professionals who wish to develop their careers in the region.

During the event, many students discovered the it-ER website, which includes a section with useful information on local services, key industries and the possibility of arranging personalised and free meetings through the infodesk. This tool aims to provide direct support to international talent, helping them to resolve any doubts or problems they may have. The infodesk is one of the tools of the programme designed to facilitate the integration of international professionals into the Emilia-Romagna regional ecosystem.

In addition, the municipalities organised 'speed dates' sessions – short, informal meetings where students could speak directly to local representatives and find out about the opportunities available in each area.
